Re: 30,000km to high

I did 70,000km in 12 months on a 1995 ZZR600 I bought new at the end of 1996 - commuting between Nowra and Wollongong plus lots of weekend trips. It was going strong until it (and I) got wiped out in a SMIDSY, when it was written off. Insurance got me a new 1998 ZX6R, which I did another 30,000km on ...

Re: Shoalhaven Motorsports Complex

OK thanks for clearing that up :) - I thought they owned the land where the MX track is ? Or is that leased from the council as well ?

8)
Don't know who owns the MX track. Council is going to lease the land for the new track to MNSW for $5000 a year! There is some opposition to the plan, but a ...

Re: Shoalhaven Motorsports Complex

.....lets hope they build the nowra circuit longer than marulan and luddenham... :?......

I think that is the plan mate - they will be racing cars there as well, so you would expect a fairly decent-sized circuit.

They have a shitload of room to make the circuit - I think MNSW already owns pretty ...

Re: What's you're best looking bike.

In my opinion, the best looking bike = 1998/99 ZX9R, that's why I own one 8)

Re: Back on the bike with a zx9

Awesome! I got back on a bike after a more than 13 year gap about a year ago, it was a 1999 zx9r, which was my dream bike back in 1999 when I gave up riding (first child born). It hasn't disappointed, I love riding it, and I love the look of it too. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I love mine :D

Re: Have a problem with Myna birds

Some of the modern air rifles make less noise than a nerf gun! I still like the slingshot with ice cubes.

Hello

Just realised I hadn't introduced myself. Recently rejoined the 2 wheeled fraternity after a 13.5 year absence. Convinced the wife that it was again time (doing a lot of commuting up and down the NSW south coast), and found a good example of my dream bike - a ZX9R C2 - for sale, and it now lives in ...

Re: Have a problem with Myna birds

you would run foul of the law for discharging a firearm in a residential area and yes an air rifle is classed as a firearm even a 177 let alone a .50.
No such law, at least in NSW. You do however require a lawful reason and the right category licence. It is all outlined in the crimes act 1901 ...
