Requires removal of the swingarm.
Essentially the rearsets want you to move the MC but the steel line to the junction box is too short. Good Design Kawasaki
What a ...

Re: Removing abs on zx10r 2011
Its a single line from m/c to the pump with 2 junction splitter boxes. 3/4 of the line is solid and 1/4 is rubber. It has no joins in it where i can split the line. Its all flared and welded on. Lol.

Re: Removing abs on zx10r 2011
You mean the line between the reservior and cylinder? Not that the zx6 has ABS but my rearsets came with a longer line.
Also have you thought about the insurance implications? If your in a prang at fault or not having removed the ABS Id suggest it would possibly deam the bike unroadworthy. Even ...

Re: Removing abs on zx10r 2011
I cant adjust my new rearsets. Lol.
I bought a set of rearsets as i needed it to be adjustable but due to the brakeline being waaaayyyyy to short i cant even adjust them. Its at its closest and highest setting now just to be able to bolt it on but the brake line is under a little tension. My only ...

Re: Removing abs on zx10r 2011
Its too late, i got the abs version cheap also. Lol.
I found out I can remove alll the lines then block the pump off and have it connected with the fuses in and it wont throw a light.
Main issue is the rear brake line is too short for the rearsets.

Removing abs on zx10r 2011
Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyones tried removing their abs system on a 2011 zx10r.
I know you can pull the two fuses out but the FI and KIBS light stays on. Does this affect anything else like traction control or any performance issues?
Thanks guys.

Thanks guys, youve been a very welcoming forum. 8-)
Just a bit of an update, had my bike tuned at s&r pro at it rides very smooth now. Fueling seems perfect as it used to have a bit of a splutter around 8krpm due to being rich. Cant wait to give it a try with the new tune at EC. Hope to see you all ...

Some people just have different standards when it comes to oem copies. Lol
For $70 you cant really complain. All the locking mechanism work perfectly though.

Re: 2011 ZX10R - Latest PCV/Akra Shorty Tuning
Hi KSRC,
Im new to the whole zx10r thing and was wondering what you mean by "gear advance mode"? Ive never really had to run an O2 optimiser before as all of my previous bikes ran O2 eliminators.
Ive bought the PCV and O2 Optimiser from Serco and in the instructions it just says activate "gear ...
