I've got an early 90's carby petrol LWB hiace, and cant knock it value for money. It's never let me down.
It's not as good on fuel as some of the diesels and my mates i-load runs rings around it, but then they cost 6 or 7 times as much.

It's not the sensor that bolts onto outside of the head it is were it picks it up off the end of the cam. Check the end off both cams and you'll see what i mean.

The cam angle sensor on the 00 model is different to all the others, thats your problem.

The fact that there wide enough to sit upside is just wrong.

I have a 92 hiace, never had an issue with it found it to be very reliable, it's a 2.4 petrol abit thirst compared to the diesels and my mates iload has a shitload more go. But it does what i want and cost alot less than 10 grand.

I got runner/up saturday at the meet, ran the turbo busa in full street trim and just couldnt get the front wheel to stay on the ground 3/4 track and i still had the front 2 foot off the ground

It will need atleast a decompression plate under the head, and ben or jamie would be able to answer an questions that you have.

Just swap the hole tank over from the other one. Is there a fuel filter at all, the only thing i could find was the guaze on the pump, how hard is that to block.

I picked up something from the fuel pump on my 05 bike, it would run but the FI light would come on and it would just stop. I pulled the pump out (fairly simple, followed the manual instructions on cleaning and it fixed it) Isn't there an 10A ignition fuse ontop of the tank? Worth checking too?
