I can't actually use my straps on my ZX9. Well I can.....but they tend to flap around a bit. I run an oky strap through the velcro side panels and some hidden tie-down loops under the seat. Works a treat.

Yep, that's the one The straps look different though. Also yours looks grey (probably the pic), mines black.
