i've dona bit of polishing on my cars before - ie, for a rocker cover, start with 400 wet n dry, go to 800, 1200, then autosol
takes forever, and you have to keep maintaining it (very hard to paint a clear coat over it because the paint has nothing to stick to) but it's worth the effor tif you ...

i've also heard they can cause more damage due to all the shock transferring to teh frame instead of being absorbed by the panels, twisting/cracking frames???

yer, tis abit close - that particular section of road (errmm..track!!) is resurfaced too - verrry slipery when you hit it!!!
cheers pearl black - tis "black chrome" with iridium visor - definately gets noticed alot!! pity the it seems to attract bugs and fingerprints tho :-S

lookin mighty fine there but as a side note, don't forget to take the signs off every night and clean the back of the sign and the paint of the car - mate of mine found out the hard way and has a nice rectangular section of rust bubbles now i'm pretty sure it was acting like a battery - ie, 2 ...

i was in syd last week and went to a place up in the blue mountains with a mate to check out some leather gear - it's custom made and they do the "race look" 2 pieces (ie, rossi replicas, etc) seem to be pretty good for the price (mate ordered a custom fit kwaka one, with slider provision, kevlar ...

hehehe they aren't really that tight, but still relatively restricting...thanks for the re: shower tip - thats what i was thinking, but when i was in reserves we had to wear out leather GP boots in a bucket of water for 2 hours and then walk 6 kms to mould and bed them in - so the idea was partially ...
