I would say Yes - on my '94 ZX7 I used a throttle barrel from a Yamaha R1 (p/n YA4YR-26240-02-00) which offers about 5/8 turn max. I also got rid of the push cable. No place for it on the barrel and there is a return spring on the carbs anyway.

I have the flush mount LED style on my '04 ZX-7 and I like them. They are plenty bright - even in daylight. They are more yellow in color than orange. I think my only concern would be at night, since they are mounted so close together, whether it would be difficult to tell which way I am wanting to ...
