Fight it to the death.

The law is the law.

I can't remember which system the courts use for this type of offence (its either 'balance of probablilities' or 'beyond a reasonable doubt') but the onous isnt on you to prove your *innocence* its on the cops' to prove your *guilt*

if you can create ...

Don't attack the cops credibility.

BAD idea.

present the facts and thats it - inflaming the situation by questioning the conduct of the police officer is only going to make them come down on you harder

do you want to get the fine cancelled or have the moral victory here? -_-

You're going to cop both of those outrageous fines on the chin!?!?! what are you mad!??!

OK here's how I had my 200 in a 100 zone cancelled:

Explained the circumstances to my legal friend (cop 'heard' me speeding - no radar gun - I never admitted speeding or what speed i was doing).

You need to ...

I'm off the road for a bit now so im safe from tickets

but I have nothing but contempt for anying that doesn't say '40' or '50' :P

being a serial hoon gets pricey though (unless you get a ticket for 200 in a 100 zone and have it cancelled the next day :P)

ZX7 tyre change

my rear tyre is just about shagged and I am running a set of dunlops.

If I want to change to something else (people seem to like the pilot powers?? unless there is something better for the 7?) is it advisable to change my front as well?

I will go and see Mick @ MTM if i have any money left over ...

ZX7R Sick Engine

Well the post-theft damage report on the poor 7 is in and its a mixed bag.

My main concern currently is the awful running of the engine.

The mechanic explained it was running like ass because it had been laid on it side and oil had gotten in somewhere it shouldn't have (I can't recall the ...

* enter the cynic *

People here have raised a LOT of valid points and I’ve found nothing I disagree with strongly enough to bother posting about.

However I will point out the obvious and burst a few bubbles.

People will never stop speeding.

The govt. can not measure attentiveness or fatigue or ...

Being late for uni regularly i've mastered the art of wearing slides and riding.

mine cover virtually my whole foot so they're comfy for gear change but they would fly off at the slip of the foot let alone an accident.

suffice to say i'm a lot more disciplined with wearing my gear these days :)

Bike Returned!

Hi guys

I've been keeping it on the low-low until I got confirmation from the cops but I am most relieved to report my bike has been recovered!

Certain details I can't reveal for legal reasons but I can say the persons involved with the theft have been detained by police and charged.

I ...
