Re: NSW to QLD rego transfer help please
You could just use a piece of plastic, doesn't have to be pretty, just has to follow the ADR, which is more than 45 degrees from centre of rear axle to bottom of fender, whilst sitting on the bike.

28-29 for the rear, 30 for the front is what I run on the crim (Q2 tyres), I was also told this by a KSRCian, very happy with those pressures. Rear wouldn't hook up with 30 PSI.

Re: ZX12R, Flat spot around 2500 rpms
Yep that's Muzzy for ya.
You should get it dyno'd they'll be able to smooth it out a bit, also adding one of these works better than an electronic ignition box for the flat-spot, but you'll never eliminate it completely.

Re: Flywheels @ Alexandria vs Bike Biz @ Granville
Don't go to bikebiz, unless you want 4000 bucks worth of damage to your pride and joy due to careless forkliftery.
Re the referral to Glenn, he's a goodun and will be careful with your bike.
Alas I want yet another dyno so this time it might be flywheels. 3rd time is a charm. See what an 8 year ...

team moto blacktown.

Q2s, power pures, pirelli diablos, pilot roads, take your pick. They stock other tyres than shown there at similarly low prices which includes fitting.
190 should fit, stock = 180 it's generally accepted you can go +/- 10

Re: Front Calipers for da CRIM
Nissins are so damn sexy I plan on putting em on the 12 also.
They stop on a dime with the stock M/C btw, I'd almost call em too good. If you wanna cartwheel it 5 times instead of 4 then go the M/C.

Mine bucked and wallowed too until I got it firmed up, great now, still on the soft side compared to say a crim but it holds a line good. ;)
True re seat of the pants right? Some newer bikes are better in different ways, but you can't go past a 12 for the sheer presence, awesomeness, and the ...

well well well...
the crim is officially awesome.
With the MRA screen, nissins and new gearing it's bloody awesome.
Holy shit kids I was told Nissins were good but you just don't know how good until you've experienced it for yourself, lucky 09+ ZX6 owners imo.

Re: W8000 Special Edition
I spoke to Hills Motorcycles over the phone who gave me the auditory equivalent of the blank stare. The guy didn't even know what a special edition was let alone whether they had one. They were supposed to return my call with info but never did.

200/55, 190/55, 190/50, 180/55..
Take your pick, any of the above will transform the handling over the stock 200/50. Nobody runs it. Most people seem to prefer 190/55, myself included.
