Hey Buddy!
I got a set off ebay myself,
They look schmick as on their own,
But they dont exactly fit;
- My headlight mounts were 10mm to the left, so the headlight didn't actually fit the hole and I had to mod the mounts,
- The side fairing bolt holes don't line up with the bolts,
- The luggage ...

Hi All!
Hope everyone is having some good rides in the spring!!
I need help, I thought it would be a great idea to remove the rear indicators on my bike, the ones that are painted,
And I was going to polish them, and make them look noice, and use them as extra indicators, with new globes and the ...

Re: ZZR250 Idle Adjuster faulty
Hi Splitter,
I have the same problem, and tried the same - Clean the carbies, replace the air filter, but I found the issue to be my fuel line from the tank to the carbie;
My bike has a fuel filter installed, and this was causing a small kink in the line, which was leading to my dodgy idle, and a ...

Re: 92 ZZR Airbox Issue
It's Popping off the Airbox end!
I'm thinking that the new rubbers would be a goer,
I've also looked into replacing the airbox with pod filters, but that will involve putting some new jets into the carbs, and Bugger that!
Thanks for the reply Jim!

92 ZZR Airbox Issue
Hi All!
When I have been doing my checks on my bike the last couple of times I have noticed that the Air Box has popped off the carbs on my bike.
I got the box connected again, it was hard work, and took ages,
But I looked at it over the weekend, and it had come off again!
Has any one else had this ...

Re: ZZR 250 fairings
Hi mate,
So you have taken out the screws that are under the luggage strap points,
I thought I was missing something too,
But then I gave it a bit of a pull.. (lol)
And all that was holding the fairing on was the rubber plug things, and they take a bit of muscle to pull out,
Have a squiz with a ...

Re: Oil Leaking - But strangely....
Thanks Gents,
I've had the bike on the centre stand to do the work to it, so I'll let a bit of oil out, and see if I cant get it looking OK!
I'm back home on Saturday, so she'll have to wait until then,
Thanks again for the advice!!

Re: Oil Leaking - But strangely....
Thank Jonno!
That was my biggest worry, loosing traction while riding due to loosing oil!!
I dont have a bubble showing on my glass, so I am guessing she'll be overfilled!
I might drain the oil and start again!

Oil Leaking - But strangely....
Hi All!!
I took my bike for a run down to the servo last night, for some refuelling and celebratory Snickers for getting my temp gauge working again,
The bike was running like a dream,
But once I got home and turned off the bike, there was a fair amount of oil dripping from the back of my ...

Re: ZZR 250 OVERHEATING AND POSSIBLE ENGINE DAMAGE
Hi All,
I had to replace my fan switch, Temp sensor and thermostat in my bike this week, though picked them all up for $30, and its simple as hell to do!
And I am new to this motorbike game!
Now I have a temp gauge that works, though I need to wait until the gasket goo dries before I can see if the ...
