Re: Can my insurer check my past claims history?

Hey thanks Oldman Kwaka,

Just checked my claims history on that site and they have only registered one of my past claims!
Just saved myself over $250 on my new policy!

Cheers,
Matt :D

Re: Can my insurer check my past claims history?

Can I get my own history from the insurers?
Sure they have industry databases, but as a consumer, I have a right to access any data the insurers have on me.

Is there a service which can tell me my past claims history? What if I cant remember the dates of my claims - 5 years is a long time ago ...

Can my insurer check my past claims history?

I have had a couple of insurance claims over the past 5 year period.
When I go to an insurers website, they invariably ask whether I have been involved in any insurance claims over the last period (some ask 3 years and others ask for 5)

Now I have done the quotes indicating "0" incidents, and also ...

Re: Parking etiquette - North Sydney

Got the $86 in the mail - which prevents any photo evidence on my part. Got told by one of the guys who works near the parking spot.

I'll have to make up some of those parking notes - and put them on stickers - and put it on their tanks!

Parking etiquette - North Sydney

I am at a point where I'm not sure of the proper motorcycle parking etiquette. I am a regular "parker" in North Sydney (everyday) and although the council does provide a number of free designated spots, the popularity of the two wheeled game is such that there is never enough.

Now I park in an ...

GT 750 loss of power

I have a 1984 GT 750 which is running like a pig - previously had strong output.
It has not been sitting around - it just started to run rough. Low power - horrible sound - doesn't rev past 4/5000

I replaced the air filter and oil, then pulled the plugs - it looks like its running rich. With the ...

1984 GT 750 Oil issue

Looking for some help with my stock original 1984 GT750. After letting it sit idle for a approx two weeks, noted a small amount of oil collecting on the rear rim. Not a lot but still not something that I wanted to see.

Great I thought, the final drive shaft is leaking - wonder how much this is ...
