Re: your ninjas drag strip times??
Curious about the snorkells you have made, any pics??
I have ran a best of 6.87 over the 1/8th so far with -2 front, +5 rear, akro slip on, front straps and lowered in the rear. That was first time out so room for improvement on my launches. I have fitted a power commander now and will be tuned ...

Re: My 03 ZX6R
Havn't put any updates recently and the bike has changed a bit.
Put some different different front blinkers on and also a intergrated rear tail light blinker.
Got some new stickers made up also.
Ran the bike at the 1/8th track yesterday with a best of 6.87.

Re: 1/8th mile set up
Went and ordered new sprocket's today and by the book standard sprocket's are listed as 15F and 40R so I ordered a 14F and 45R.
Sometime or another my bike has had the rear changed to a 42 and also the speedo recalibrated.

Re: 1/8th mile set up
It's at an airstrip which is not a permanent track which only allows through ANDRA to run 1/8th mile Drag racing. If it was a permanent fixed track then could run 1/4.
Will probably end up getting down to WSID at a later stage and give it a run down the 1/4 but I will always try my best to support ...

1/8th mile set up
In a few months going to be giving my 03 zxr636 a run over the 1/8th.
I have ordered adjustable linkages to lower the rear of the bike and also straps for the front.
My current gearing is 15F and 42R. I cant seem to be able to get a consistent answer on the net as to what it should be standard ...

Re: My 03 ZX6R
We had some pretty major flooding here in Cowra last night and today so I thought I would take the bike for a spin this arvo and grab some photo's of all the water. Then I relised I hadn't put a pic up after I chopped the exhaust.
So here's a pic of the chopped exhaust and some of the water here ...

Re: My 03 ZX6R
Not the best pic but should be able to work it out. As you can see a trim of the fuel all the way through should show some pretty big result's.
Got a number of thing's happening at the moment with cars, bikes and house lol and really want to sort the front end out first but early in the new year ...

After pulling the Nitro x thing of I am now getting 230km before the fuel light comes on where before I was getting 180!!!!. Huge difference.

Re: My 03 ZX6R
The ride is a little harsh over all but I dont mind it. The rear is set up soft by the adjuster but is still pretty stiff lol.
The front end wobble under hard acceleration at high speed i'm not happy at all about but is the first thing I will be spending money on to eliminate. Could be just my bike ...

My 03 ZX6R
Purchased the bike a couple of weeks ago and so far am impressed with it for it's size.
Has Braided front brake lines, K&N filter and Akropovic slip on muffler.
Should have it on the dyno next week to check fuel mixtures etc.
First money I will be spending on the bike will be steering damper in ...
