:) That reminds me.. Back when I was browsing, I was also considering a CBR600. The sales guy told me to forget about lowering it, just get the 1000 - it's smaller.

Hmm.. not sure, but can check tonight when I get home.

When they lowered mine they told me another girl who had bought the same bike was much shorter than me and had hers lowered even more.

I'm only 5'4" and I ride a ZX6 lowered an inch so the balls of my feet are flat on the ground.

Had to put washers on, take washers off, put washers back on until I was happy that it fit snugly.

hm...i didn't have to do that, but i just needed kinda forcing it in

Do you mean when putting it on it doesn't click straight in like the seat does, so you have to "force" it in? If so, me too ...

It took me that long to put mine on too.. didn't fit as easily as I expected it would.

Had to put washers on, take washers off, put washers back on until I was happy that it fit snugly.

I use Grisoft AVG Anti Virus - it's free and does the job.

I work in IT and on a project it's what the architect chose for us when the client was too tight to buy something.

One is box shaped, the other is tube shaped.

Tubes can be good because they are light weight and very rigid - the sides don't flex. Boxes can be made rigid but they require lots of internal bracing and end up being very heavy.

I thought $300 was way too much.. was told this a few months ago - maybe he wasn't thinking. Or maybe he was and was being dodgy..

Rear Seat Cowl

Do you think this is OK? It's a lot cheaper than what they're asking locally at Kawasaki ($300).

It's $133.615 AUD + postage.
