Re: Servicing in Brisbane?

Motorcycle Madd at Brendale are very good and cheap.
Had my ZX10 there when I realised the dealer wasn't doing all the work on the servicing manual.
They also flashed and dynoed it for me and had it running superbly.

Re: clutchless downshifting

I have clutchless downshifted sometimes but was always unsure as to whether it was causing any damage..
Some actual answers would be great on this.
Any mechanics or those with solid info to share on this?

Guess I am out of the club

Hi all,
So after wrecking my ZX10 back in April the body has finally healed enough to ride again.
Although the 2016 ZX10R almost convinced me back to the green team I decided to shout myself a new RSV4 RR.
Will still do my usual late night perusing here. Thanks for all the tips and help offered.

Re: 05 ZX6R 636 Front Rotors

They advertise them as a direct swap for the OEM rotors, but you need them machined at your expense for them to fit??!! Shouldn't that be their cost if they don'y fit properly?
I only ask cause I am after some as well for the same bike.

Butterfly thingy doesn't turn on ignition

Hi,
So I am trying to get my ZX6R back up and running after a few years of sleep. Bought a new battery and hooked it up but when I try to fire it the butterfly thing in the picture doesn't turn and it doesn't sound like there is any "priming" sort of stuff going on. Then when I try to kick it over ...

Re: I guess this is how not to do it

I hope you strengthen the muscles in your back. Swimming was good for me. Helps with everything.

Yeah physio can't wait to get started. Couldn't wipe the smile from her face when she found out how long I was in the brace and how much work will need to be done when I get out of it.

Re: I guess this is how not to do it

I can't seem to settle between the RSV4 and the R1. Thinking it'll be the RSV4 though. Always wanted one so now's my chance I suppose

Re: Bell Star Carbon Lids

I have just moved back to NSW. I know Qld has changed its helmet laws so you can wear DOT and SNELL approved helmets that don't have the AS/NZS sticker.
Is that the case down here?

Hi all,

Anyone had one of these.
An off has meant I'm now in the market for a new helmet and was seriously considering one of these.
Seem pretty good and alot cheaper than the X12 I just smashed up
