ZX7 tacho
Hi,
I'm looking for a tacho from a ZX7, any model as long as it works and is in good condition, to put on my P5 Z1000. Preferable to come with the mounting bracket.
Cheers,
Steve. ph. 0428 514 658

wheel weights.. As in how heavy???
Hi peoples,
I am trying to reduce a bit of weight off my 1000J P5 bike... which has a 1988 Gsxr750 front wheel in it atm, and having a bit of a refurbish. So if anyone out there has any accurate weights of any late model 3 spoke 17"x3.5" wheels,.... post them up.
I'm thinking.. ZX6 or ZX7 maybe.Even ...

I agree with Glen and Phil, bring back the Rex, just make it lighter and faster.

Re: ZRX mirrors
whoa! I have those Aon my P5 Z1000J as well as the Rex and had a slow crash at MG corner in practice at the Island Classic in 2012 on the J.The bike went down on the right (no damage apart from ignition cover), then it slid across the track and hit the ripple strip, then did a flip straight over on ...

Re: ZRX mirrors
OK, I would have thought the bar ends would get in the way, or there would be less vision of who's chasing you. I have the ASF superbike bars on mine. They are low and about 20 mm wider each side than standard.

ZRX mirrors
I am thinking of updating the mirrors on my ZRX. I don't really want the bar end type, but would like good quality ones that won't vibrate too much if possible.
Trying to find ones that suit the bike and aren't too big is the problem. I have read somewhere the late Z1000 ones fit ??
Anyone got any ...

Re: ZRX Tyres
Yeah, we did have a Pink Monster with us, and a blue one. They were 6??cc ones. Not my cup of tea, but each to their own I guess. Had an excellent run up the Putty, with only a few cars and no cops. I actually went through the ten mile with no interruptions, which is rare.

Re: ZRX Tyres
I Got back from Phillip Island yesterday arvo, and after a 2,600km ride on the Bridgestone T30's, I would say they are an improvement on the 023's, as advertised to be, and recommend them as a Sports Touring tyre. We had an awesome ride with 9 other bikes we had the pace on through as many windy ...

Re: ZRX Tyres
I just put a set of Bridgestone T30's on mine. After a good run out of the 023's the T30's are the "next model". Riding down to the Supers this week so should have a good test down and back.

Re: Expression of interest- ZRX rally Australia.
As long as there was plenty notice prior, it could be anywhere. People would go if they can plan for it. Somewhere between Cairns and Melbourne..... Near Coffs, or on the north coast
