Thanks Brett
Looks like I gotta take off the front brake lines to get the rear piece off. Is that right?
Cheers

zzr 1100 front guard
Hey all
My 1997 zzr 1100 front guard has broken around the left hand screw. I'm not turning up much with a google search. I spose this part is most often smashed in a bingle. I have heard that zx9 ones fit.
Anyone know of where I can find one?

Re: Carbon Tax
mmmmm.... Firstly the unknown source has it right 3 % of the carbon dioxide in our atmosphere is human made. Doesn't sound like much but it is on top of a natural annual cycle where all natural carbon dioxide produced is again absorbed by plants and concerted to carbohydrates ( yes photosynthesis ...

Water in fuel tank!!
I was riding to work the other day and getting down on fuel the bike stutters as I attempt to overtake so I flick it over to reserve then it dies. I pull over, check the fuel, seems to be plenty splashing around but will not start. A mate of mine with a trailer picks me up and we drop it around to ...

Re: ZZR 1100 Battery placement
mmmmmmm... So the D model had the great advances of.. a fuel gauge instead of warning light, larger fuel tank, and inaccessible battery and headlight bulb. I would have preferred a couple of litres less in the tank if I could get to the battery more easily.

ZZR 1100 Battery placement
It happened... I knew it would someday... Left the keys on and drained the battery... DOH!! Ok I read somewhere the battery is under the tank!! Yep sure is took me half an hour to work out how to get to it :( What a great idea to place the battery in an easily accessible place.

Re: G'day From Northern NSW
Thanks guys... I been in touch with the bike shop and asked about the fork seals as a warranty job... still to hear back. I notice on the receipt that bikes over 3 yrs and 30 000 km don't have to have warranty offered. The way I see it is they'll keep my business if they do it and if they don't well ...
