Same thing happened to me.gpxpunk wrote:its pretty easy to get to the carbie bowls, my way is the extreme coz if i'm going to drain them i want to know whats in them to see if there is crap in them aswell. just need to loosen the screws between the carbies and head and pull them off. Remember to disconnect the coolant lines on either side of the carbies. disconnect the throttle{both"} and choke cables.
Youll see 4 screws at the back under the carbies, with some little plastic funnels. Have to use a small allen key to loosen them and presto they will drain out.
