I pretty much just got home after a 1.5hr ride from picking it up and I just want to take it for another ride!

I'm stoked man, just wondering if this sounds right, sitting on 120kph on the motorway she's revving at 9grand and when going 140kph she's sitting on 10grand. Redline starts at 13, goes to 15. Does this seem right?

thats exactly correct mate!!! they are geared pretty short to compensate for the relative lack of power... you could put a smalled rear sprocket on to decrease revs but it seemed the stock gearing was a good compromise of acceleration and touring ability...

Just been reading the manual. According to it, the break in period should be observed as follows:
0-800kms rpm not to exceed 4K
800-1600kms rpm not to exceed 6K

I picked up the bike today with 1100kms already done on it and I had the revs as high as 10K, sitting on 9K for about 40mins while on the motorway. And often was over 6,000rpm.

Could I have possibly done damage? The dealer told me I could ride it as hard or as slow as I liked, it was already broken in...

Simple answer..... No damage will be done
Dealer is correct

The most part of the run in stage is within the first few hundred km's. Just ride it normally, the run in oil would have been dropped and most likely replaced with a mineral based oil till around 5,000k's now its more to letting the gearbox run in as that can take between 5-10,000k's depending on how you treat it and then its fully done, Fully sick :D

Sweet. Thanks, Saki.

How do I run the gearbox in correctly?

I know! It looks miles better than the blue, black or red.

I like the orange in the zx6r. Yellow looks cool too.

Both of them are scared of it. Soon as I start it up they start barking at it and stalking it. It's funny. The bitch burnt her nose on the exhaust last night!

Yellow looks cool too.

Hmmm you'll like bumble bee then, I think she's the only yellow 08 600 on this forum (and now for the insults, don't care still think she is a sexy, sexy bike) no not mine, but my mans. I have a green identical to yours called Hulk Junior, he is an awesome ride.

I reckon yellow is probably the 2nd best colour after green on bikes, or at least not far behind the orange. I don't know why there aren't more models released in yellow.

Can't wait to go for a ride with some of you guys. Need to get my riding skills up a bit first though.
