I'd go for a J '00. The F series has a habit of cracking it's frame. The J is a more refined and sportier G. It has a better swing arm and proper clip-ons. Drop the forks 10mm and raise the tail the same and it'll turn OK too.

have you guys heard of fuel injection. Look for something under 10 years old

Get an 05/06, or even better, an 03/04. Auctioned, they cost little more than an older model and you're going to replace with raceglass/rearsets/clip ons anyway..

Well, you could always buy my 95 zx6r for $3000. It's a repairable write off that I have had the frame straightened and all ready for the tier 3 and roadworthy. I patched up the fairing with fibre glass, so it is a little rough, but it's only got 30,000 k's on it. I'm near Adelaide if you're interested.
