Kawasaki Mechanic - Brisbane

Postby FuTAnT » Tue Aug 28, 2007 1:42 pm

As the topic says, I'm after a good mechanic up here in Brisbane. I had developed quite a good relationship with my mech in Sydney before I left, and I can't say the idea of leaving my bike with a mechanic that I don't know fills me with glee. More accurately, it bloody horrifies me.

I'm sure there's a few around, so I thought I'd ask. I'm living in Coorparoo, working in Milton, but don't mind travelling to get to a good mechanic.

Cheers!

Two options I recommend

1. Tony at Midtown, knows his kwakka's inside out and upside down, he's helping me win the war against kawasaki :D

2. Bogaarts cycletune at Springwood, he's looked after all 3 of my bikes

Thanks for the help so far guys. I feel as if I should prepare an interview list for these guys. I like the sound of LAE ... you would think they should know their stuff!

Depends where you live I guess. Word of mouth is everything in this game, and it doesn't take long for shit mechanics and ripoff merchants to be found out. Scratch MTM at Virginia from your list. If you're on the northside like me, Alex at LAE is a good bet. Been going there for years, and he's never given me reason to look anywhere else.
