heres some piccies i have finally taken of my HZ 1 Tonner that I rebuilt late last year.

car had a fair amount of rust, so it got bare metal resprayed with holden hot house green, with high fill underneath and minimal bog :kuda:

bodys all standard holden :) hq gts guards with a hq front end and tradys grill 8) . body and chazzie is HZ so it has the super dooper RTS  and polution control  (removed) and crome trimming is best second hand i could find.

its running a mildly worked 253, with a stage 2 cam kit, recoed head for unleaded, ported and polished a bit, edelbrock performer intake manifold, 4barrel rochchester quadrajet carby, forged pistons, standerd rebuilt bottom end :)
its got a 5 speed toyota supra gearbox, heavy duty tail shaft and the standard 10 bolt diff with 3.35 gears (want a LSD 9 inch 3.50 :D :D :D)

all then engine work was done by me and a mate :) as was some of the body prep work :)

interior is pretty stock with a 3 seater bench retrimmed in commodore pattern with green infills, also on the door trims, dash is standard with a few autometer guages added :kuda:

being my daily driver shes a pretty sweet ride and not to bad on fuel if ya cruize in her :) but will smoke tyres with ease

hope yars like it and if ya want piccies of engine bay and interior just hit me up :)

next thing i wanna do is gilmer, i was thinking of elec thermos. but my mate steered me away from them as the standard fan works better and for the little power gain i'll get it wouldnt be worth it. apart form the neatness i guess

oh n btw the engine also has gear driven cam instead of chain so it have a little whistle already, but with a gilmer it would sound like its blown  haha

its definatly for bling rather than power.

i hate the sound of fans that runn off the engine, remeber the EL falcon, you heard the fan b4 the car
