9R's are bargains...especially C-models

954s are sub 10K now , and the ones i have seen pop up on forums sit around forever at $10K

they are now a few years old and the bike market has gone to the toilet so difficult to move em now

they do about 135rwhp stock, little more with a slip on... about 145rwhp tops with a nice full system and tuning, they aint no gixxer

many times i meant to ride it but never got around to it, being unlicenced and therefore kinda drunk most of the time didn't help anything there

i know some dynos are a bit optimistic, but his little sheet said 153 before it turned into a full stunt bike. maybe miranda's is just crap :P :P

and like i'd be able to tell the difference anyways. 200hp, 150hp, 130hp..... its all shitloads more than i've ever known  i'm not even sure i know how to ride anymore, theres nearly as much dust on the 7 now as there is on the naro  the throttle is on the left yeah? :P :P

03 cbr 954 standard pipe 8000kms on the clock
9 thou cash with 10 months rego
the guy im buying it off said its too tall for him and the power scares him. he prefers his cb600 hornet and just wants to get rid of this twitchy monster in his garage.
cheapest blades ive found on tradingpost or bikepoint in similar condition are 11-12 thousand.
looking on ebay for a slip on and maybe a fender kit.
thanks for the feedback

Cheap bike that is. Especially considering the condition it's in and the K's. At least if it's stock, you know it hasn't been fcuked with!!!! :D

me thinks his dyno sheet was reading power at the engine not the wheel  but hey lots of dynos are different

i think its about time you got a real bike dale

a 954 that costs the same as a 9R is definately a bargain... mirandas was a lot cheaper, but hey thats the way it should be when buying at auction, you take some pretty big chances that way

take it easy mate, i was ribbing you to begin with :?

id love to have EFI, tho i recon my bike is a little smoother than the 954, and the shorter wheelbase, rake & trail also slightly turn me off it, but thats just me. they are very different bikes and i commute every day and got turned off twitchy uncomfy bikes after my old gixxer750 :x i cant really speak for the 929 but i know plenty about its younger brother

as for power  ... honda claimed the 929 made more power but every dyno graph ive seen from magazine review comparing the bikes when they were new would show otherwise  definately made more below 4k but a lot less above
