2012 ZX10R blocking plate

I remember reading somewhere about blocking a "2nd air" when fitting an aftermarket exhaust to my 2012 ZX10R.
Have you guys all done this? If so how did you do it and where did you get the blocking plate?
Had mine flashed but it's still getting stuck when the throttle is only slightly open.
Feels like it's getting puled back as I am just opening the throttle then it just takes off. Anyone else having this problm?
Thanks

Kawasaki wsbk team don't even use block off plates. They just join the pipes together

Same as me Wattie...!!
I just cut a pipe to fit neatly between the ports and cable tied it in place... works exactly the same for basically nothing

Well that sounds better.
Have either of you got photos?
How long did it take and is it very technical or fairly straight forward?

I had a mate mill me out some from plate aluminium using the old plates as a template!
Granted it's only on a ZXR750 but the idea should be the same!
Or Graves Motorsport in the US sell them cheap-ish!
