Don't know about the ZXR7fiddys but my ZR7 needs a firm touch, try to be gentle and she won't play the game, the ZX6R though prefers lots of revs to get nice smooth changes, anything over 9000 changes are smooth as silk and just slide through with a very light touch but at lower revs she changes ok but is very clunky and needs a really firm lift!

You might need to bleed your hydraulic clutch mate - these bikes have a bit of an achilles heel with the clutch actuating system. It might feel like it works properly from the clutch lever ..........but if you have a look at the slave cylinder it may not be moving much at all. This results in exactly the problem you are experiencing - hard shifting.
It might not be the answer to your problem but it is worth checking out anyway just to cross it off the list of possible sources of the problem ?

You would need to move to an industrial estate
How you gonna pick up the new slabs to get the "house mover" in to move the thing though

NFI mate - I often look in there and say...."what have I done ?..."
When we moved into this place - it took 14 trips with a LWB Hi-Ace van and my trailer - to move everything I had in the other shed over here.
The amount of *stuff* in there has probably doubled since then. It would be a hell of a move .......
plenty of industrial estates around Newie
