used to get out and shoot a bit, target and field. Not much last couple of years. My bow probably needs re-cabling...and my arrows need new flights...

Yeah, shoot target, usually at the Olympic range at homebush....have a 28lb thats probably 3-4 lbs too light now.

If you think I'm taking the piss out of someone who shoots anything for a hobby let alone a bow and arrow you seriously overestimate the extent of my bravery , or foolhardiness. I did a little bit of this at school. Buggered if I know what sort of gear we used, but it curved one way then back the other. Pretty amazing how much power they had though. Although, just like shooting rifles or pistols, I got bored after 20 mins. It kinda reminds me of knitting or crocheting...it's OK, but you wouldn't want your friends to see you!!!
