Just a suggestion, about the 2 girls on one page and still needing more girls....
Why don't you say that all the girls posing with their own Kwaka's get a page to themselves as lets face it, that's hot - having you own bike (and after all it is a Kwaka site)
And then other members who need to borrow bikes, like me using Stereo's should be on a double up page.
And another if its a calendar showing off for this group and forum - all bikes should come from members of the site - just to keep it in the spirit of the original intentions.....

We where going to all use our own bikes. I mean I would love to use Kermie. Only problem is that we ended up with heaps of 250's. Then we had people sying not enough different bikes
Steph ya can't win either way trust me I have tried
, but I also feel that because you are on Stereo's bike dosn't mean that someone deserves a page to themself over you. We will somehow TRY to make the best outta this, just don't ask me how yet
. I have put in soooo many hours and hundreds of emails trying to sort it all out. Kris from Race Replica is a member of the site as well he just dons't ride the bike Zombie will be with in pic's every other bike I understand belongs to a member
Thanks for the input though all are very much welcome

I'm sorry but I think you've completely lost the spirit of what this whole thing was supposed to be about...
You have some members who have been members since day dot. 3+ years..
For example Ronster.. He has a newly sprayed ZZR1100 and even went so far as to have KSRC decals put on it... His wife I believe was also going to put her hand up but since the shift in onus of what the calendar is becoming has prob had 2nd thoughts. And to top it all off Ronster's offer of his bike seems to have been knocked back because a dealership has offered some new bikes..
Lets just remember this is a site first and fore most for owners and riders of Kawasaki's... And the calendar should be a direct representation of this... I don't believe anyone would complain about a members partner being pictured on their bike after all the majority that I know of in Vic are a part of the club esp. when it comes to social get togethers.
I believe to have a pick or Mirranda on her pic which several people believe is the exact spirit of what this calendar is supposed to be about. And there are alot of people losing motivation, interest or support for this venture because of it. I think that the level of insterest for the calendar poll might be abit of an indicator of what I'm trying to get at.

I would just like to say I ahve lost no spirit in this at all. Infact my heart has gone into this daily.
The offer was their to help but as I was told by Admin that it was me and a few others that put up our hand. I have read many many post and have replied to these all Via here, PM or email. I would have liked nothing more than for Chris to have been in this Calendar with Ron's bike. I adore them both and if by any chance this has offened anyone I am sorry. EVERYONE seems to forget it is not only me making a choice here their are several behind this as well. Together we feel we are doing what we can to TRY to make everyone happy. It's not working that way I can see that but what do we do change it YET again to make one person happy to only offend others?
Anyone is more than welcome to have a say and I do discuss this with everyone involved.
Thank you for your honesty and opinion believe me I have also had the same thoughts as you on many times.....
I am also sorry if I have offened anyone it is not what I have set out to do.....

As one of the photographers, a part of the design team and dedicated KSRC member, I have to say this has been a difficult process.
I don't think any member of the club should be excluded if they wish to participate, but I do think all bikes should be Kawasaki. As far as I know the photoshoot is open to all KSRC ladies, and any bikes that attend will be considered. On saying that it would not be a true representation of the group or Kawasaki if almost every bike were a ZZR250.
I don't quite understand the comment about Marranda; she is sitting on her own bike in full leathers. This is her image and how she wished to be portrayed. The same will happen for any other member; their image as they wish to be portrayed (as long as it's clean & tasteful). This will be a calender of individuals, so each picture will be indivdual.
I am happy to have 300 pics to utilise, and will endevour to get everyone who submits a picture into the calendar. This is an archive of KSRC ladies, and nothing more. It is not a beauty parade where only barbies need apply, nor is it a popularity contest.

I certainly think we need more of the regular members and their partners in this. KSRC isn't just about riding, it has a very strong social scene. Why shouldn't Sarah pose on Dans bike, or Sharon On Rob's ZX6 or Linda on Pauls 9R, Marie on Simmos race bike, and Chris on Rons ZZR11 - and this needs to have people from every state involved.
So get taking pics people, or come along to the above mentioned photoshoot - or organise one of ya own. We have 1000 members, and there are lots of actice KSRC ladies both socially and riding. Throw on the KSRC shirt, hat and stubbie holder and submit a pic.
Lets make this something to be proud of.

Exactly. Wasn't this calendar supposed to be "Girls of KSRC" and not "Girls on Kawasaki's"?Dan wrote:Sounding more like a Kawasaki Australia Calander then a members calendar... lol

Who cares what brand/size of bike is used? As long as it's clean(ish), and their own bike, does it really matter?

I am happy to share my page with Marranda but I own a ZZR250 and she's purple. ( She matches my purple draggin's) I won't be pikkied on anyone else's bike but mine. I own her and I love her. (Unfortunately, I can't attend on the 17th as my daughter has her grand final for Netball.
Mike let me know what you wanna do about pikkies.
Please, this is a calendar about our KSRC members, whether we ride 250's or suzuki's etc we should represent KSRC not Kawasaki and we should be photographed on our or our partners rides.
Ron's bike is choice... I would love to wrap myself around her in pikkies but i don't think they would be published in the calendar though

See what happens when I work the weekend, ALL HELL BRAKES LOOSE!
I put my hand up and say it was my idea for the fuller range of bikes, I thought it would be a good idea, it seems I was mistaken (not something I always admit to)
Ok, I hear all the objections and have taken that on board, so I think we should do as everyone wants, have KSRC ladies on their own (or partners) Kawasakis (as the whole reason we are part of this group is our love of this brand).
Another concern I have is over printing, we have a quote for a good price which inc postage will be $20, however we need to print 250 to get this, so far on the research poll we have a possible 30 sales.
Is this due to the bikes we are posing on? or do you not want one full stop? this needs to be addressed before we can do anything else.
We are doing this for the club, YOU really as you are a member, therefore I think this is important.
As Lainie said we cant please everyone, but we hope to please the majority, so if you want changes we'll make them. (within reason, no topless/naked- Neka!)

Zombie mate, it wasn't only you that thought different range of bikes would be a good idea. I have had PM's and emails in regards to this. My thoughts are even if we all used our own bikes is anyone going to be happy?
Our next question so if we for example asked Neke's Mrs to join would it be an issue that she would be on a Honda
Of if you didn't get your bike yet either
