It's also mandatory to attempt to grab their front brake lever, try to remove the ignition key, or hit their kill switch while overtaking.

but passing through corners with someone you have ridden with for *years* is not only acceptable, it should be encouraged :P

Anyone know what a *Buffalo Girl* is ?? ....... well, that was the *preferred* riding style back in those days.....

:D

Yeah I agree. An inexperienced, new just got my licence, look out I am wobbling all over the place learner demands a certain err margin of safety within which to pass. And I agree these are not the people we should be Buffalo Girling!!!!

this exact thing happened to Gos and I on the weekend, we came up behing this guy on gsx-r and he was *visually* very very scared. we gave him a very wide berth trying no to scare him as we putted past.

now the guy on the gsx14 - that could obviously ride a bit  didnt need as much room.............

that guy on the GSX looked *really* wobbly, I felt a bit sorry for him......for about a nanosecond  But Phil and I did slow up, made sure he saw us in his mirrors, and proceeded past him at a reduced pace, simply to ensure we didn't scare the crap outta him.

This is a *good thing* - we didn't lose any time, after 2 or 3 corners we were back into our *normal* pace :P :P old mate on the little GSX was none the worse.....- same deal with old fellah on the GSX1400, only real difference being he could ride a bit, and was never going to be quite as *fussed* when overtaken by 2 quicker pilots.....

Poor bugger though on the straight run to Cathcart - he said he had *just* done a mirror check, seen nothing, then 15 seconds later got strafed by the ZX9/ZX12 patrol.......and we sat behind him for , oh, at least 10 seconds...... .......

Have to laugh at Strika's *pining for the past* !! Hitting the kill-switch while overtaking on the inside was almost *mandatory* back in the 80's, shit we did this all the time !!! and no-one fell off, or sued our arses off .....I guess when you ride with the same group of mates for a *few* years, you can get away with anything !!

Bastards though, they knew if they hit my 'hazard' switch on the LH side, the main fuse would blow, and I would be *out of action* for at least 5 minutes  - so I had them strafing both sides of the Zed.......now and then......

Swapping/removing plug leads outside the pub on a Friday night was always *fun*......and occurred so frequently, that you just naturally checked your leads before even contemplating a start !!

Aaaah, the good old days...........

Mr Strika sir, I don't know you (except what I perceive of you on here) and maybe it's none of my business but I hope your not taking to many risks out there.
:D :D :D :D
I live with fear everyday but on weekends she lets me ride.
