Still on all the meds I was on at hospital, with a plan to lower the dosage of the steroids and monitor the reaction. Hopefully it will be a nice immune system and reset itself. Otherwise back we go.

But, right now I'm in heaven, lying in bed with Ozkar asleep by my side keeping my aching shoulder warm. Just about to fall asleep myself.
Mate, just noticed this thread and took a while to go through all the posts. Take care and it sounds like good news for you now. Keep us posted of your recovery!! :)

In the famous words of that immortal song....."feeling stronger every day".......
I walked Ozkar yesterday for 40 minutes (slowly) on the beach. I drove to the doctors this morning (slowly, 2 klms each way). Am planning to hop on the bike once my balance improves, as I reckon I am almost strong enough to operate the controls and steer it (slowly).
Can't wait to get off the painkillers, they wreak havoc with my balance. Ask Jonno, he rode with me while I was on them. I was a mobile chicane for him.

Nah, not yet mate. It's hard enough to get Tatyana to pick up some vegies at Coles, let alone get her to the bookstore. It'll have to wait till I am up to it.

I havn't been around much of late. I didn't want to keep boring you with this ongoing saga and as I have not really been anywhere, or done anything, I havn't had much to talk about. Well, not much has changed, i am still trying to fight off this thing. Was going OK and thought I had it under control, but it came back to bite me and over the past 10 days has gradually got worse and I am back to where I was when I first got out of hospital. High dosage of steroids and painkillers again. Not much I can do about it but get on with it, hence the reason I stopped posting in here.

But I just wanted to let you know I am still in the land of the living, feeling great apart from a little pain and discomfort. Every cloud has a silver lining however and I am sitting on the couch today, totally bent on Endones with puppy asleep on my lap, so it's not all bad. But if i post unintelligible words, phrases, sentences, posts or threads, you will know I am in La La Land. :D
