i was talking to a mate and he said the same add a clear with a little of the paint if you want a better finsh. he is a spraypainter/ panelbeater by trade so must be right. then again he said if you do a good enough job then you dont need one, but im not that good. :D

yep your right mate but most places will add a clear to the last coats for extra depth apparently. It also allows them to cutand buff back a vechicle more frequently as it has the extra layers of clear before hittinh base coat.

very true russ, i did it with the acrylic on the falcon, did work alot better, but i hate acrylic.

i got a good shine to both fairings after it dried, but there is a few bits i didnt like and some i missed since the way i layed them out so ill throw a couple of more coats on tomorrow, wait a week and apply the black to the rest of the fairings. Then stickers and all done.

2 weeks and she is on the road peoples.

the other side still has the original ones so im matching it.

yeah already have the prices for the factory ones!!! lol yeah not cheap but looks good when they are on.

Yeah tim the white doesnt match without the front stickers, since they have white aswell, was going to spray to whole thing just green, but cant wait anymore so she'll be stock. Plus i dont see many getting around the same as mine so im lucky.
