Gos, your info is normally accurate but getting your pegs down BEFORE your knee is a REALLY SUPER DUPER bad way to do it.Also personally I wear jeans when I ride so no knee sliders so basicaly, personally speaking, I don't get knee down at all, get kinda close on some lefties but no contact
I thought the 9's & most std thou's had low rearsets??SocialSecurity wrote:i was scraping my pegs around pretty much every corner the last track day i did on my 9R .... but with me hanging off the bike as far as i could... couldnt quite reach the ground thoi blame the relatively high standard rearsets and pehaps a lack of flexibility in my hips
as are 929's.....SocialSecurity wrote:sorry i meant to say relatively low standard rearsets on a 9R... R1's and gixxers certainly have higher pegs as standard, tho 954's are known to scrape pegs easily

dont understand how i can grind the farkers & still NOT get a knee down??
not all bikes were created equally tho... late model ZX6R's are damn sporty bikes and have very high rearsets as stock... you would be hard pressed to get a earlier ZX6R or any ZX9R leaning over on that angle without scraping pegsfrogzx12r wrote:Zacahary !!!
See Gizmos pic? Your knee should be down WAY before your pegs....
Pegs is followed by helmet
