Re: Another ZRX
Yep that's the one mate, but looks like the price has gone all the way back up to retail now unfortunately. Pretty sure I saw on brocks website they have 10% off at the moment so might even be worth buying from them directly.
The actual cost of shipping was only $60 through USPS (says so on the package), so pays to shop around as I had some places quoting me ridiculous figures ($300+ etc).

They look pretty good and they come in black as well if you like. I like the shorter look of these. Awesome

Re: Another ZRX
now that is a good-lookin' zorst ! the difference between the 2 photos - OEM and Brocks - is outstanding. Brocks is so much neater.......
$60 postage you say ? FMD that is a good price for a full system.

The new shiny bits rocked up from my little Kwik/Couch christmas shopping spree. Still waiting on one of Greg's replacement 2 piece sprocket covers also.
I reckon this lot should keep me busy for a couple of days anyway.

Wot is the round shiny aluminium thing just below centre of the pic? Is that a Teds battery out kit to the right?

Re: Another ZRX
Oil filler cap mate. Item on the right is a storage tray for pod users from Kwick. Unfortunately Ted had stopped making his one by the time I needed one so have been waiting patiently for Kwick to make his version.
Fitted it this arvo - very happy with it. No longer have to have an occy strap holding the battery in place

Re: Another ZRX
Still tinkering away on the ZRX. Fitted the shiny new bar risers last week and the new front Arashi wave discs finally rocked up (5 week delivery ftl!) so fitted them the other night.
Clocked up 400km on it this morning riding from Perth to Geraldton. Started to get a little stiff around the 350km mark, but overall it is like a big comfy loungechair compared to previous rides. Effortless overtaking and surprisingly decent fuel economy considering the cruising speed. Did have a heart in mouth moment when the tank bag decided to come off during a bit of one wheel practice.

Did lose one of the top engine cradle bolts however and it has developed an annoying vibration noise around the headlight area @ ~5000rpm, but apart from that everything went peachy.

Re: Another ZRX
When you find out what the vibration is, let me know, as mine does the same. Hopefully I will get a chance to do a bit of work on it soon and find out what it is.
