I blame mobile phones for this .....

no joke - with all the instant access to FB these days on phones, its hardly surprising that people are going to find it quicker and easier to type short messages onto FB with a keypad, than take the time to sit down at a keyboard and bang away......

FB does have its good points though - a lot of old mates of mine, who *never* joined bike forums or have the time to sit at a keyboard posting like a bitch ;) - do have the time to check FB on their phones, and through this, I have caught back up with a stack of them. You can tell them from the 'My friends' list on FB - they are the ones without bikes in their profile pic !!

We have had a couple of excellent reunions organised through FB as well - but these involve punters who have SFA to do with forums.

Don't worry Glenno - this place will *never* be replaced by FB. Not possible. There may have been a slow-down in posts or whatever, but every single forum ever put onto the Interwebs goes through this - even AdvRider ( as massive as it is, sometimes it even has a slow month....) .....there are far too many good gigs for members here - stuff that FB could *never* replace or copy as well...

FB is just for the daily meaningless blather that punters like to put out there, where places like KSRC are focused on what really matters in life...

Yes a lot of the originals move on but still remain in contact through FB & twitter and other forums are more focused for those that race but as far as camaraderie (spelling) and info this is the premium site in aus for kawasaki related info
remember we survived "GFC, THE RUDD GUVMINT, ROSSI GOING TO DUCATI INSTEAD OF KAWSAKI, 3 server crashes I think ( but you would have to talk to Icebreaker to confirm that ) my 5 cents worth (soon to be raised to ten cents worth)
