This thread was always going to turn to shit.

The question is valid, why do non Kwaka people join a Kwaka site? Because of our members maybe.

But i suppose, it was a question that really didn't need asking.

Non kwaka members come and go and will continue to. Those who stay, fit in, are welcome and shouldn't be made to feel un welcome. :(

We don't actively recruit non Kwakas, but they do arrive via association and i'm cool with that.

To our active members, do not take this to heart, as it is an opinion of few.

How many of us can say we have only ever owned a Kwaka?
Most important of all is, a sports bike is a sports bike.
But I did have to look twice at the pics from the last vic ride when I saw zx2 with the lucky stripe paint job :?
It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

My first bike was a Yamaha FZR250, and I joined the FZR250 forum, and some mixed ones. I bought the zx6, and Stu told me that I was now allowed to join this one 8)

Let's be be like spud and his potato riding mates and not acknowledge anyone else 8)

At the end of the day, the club name will keep the others to a minimum, lets just be a little more opened minded, hey.

:? I joined KSRC last year cause i wanted to read and engage in all things Kawasaki (except for their MotoGP Team cause its shit [and gettin shittier!] and they sacked Andrew Pitt, lucky for them Suzuki were worse but i think thats about to change...i digress).
I have no problem with those non-kwaka riders provided that it doesn't dilute the original intent of the forum and we don't become a PC cafe forum. I don't wish to be lectured on how fast i ride when i do go on an organised ride, as long as i don't ride like a dickhead.
Needless to say i havn't ridden with anyone here i don't like violent1.gif

kwakas rule

I originally didn't have a problem with non kwaka people .. but then a few joined up.. and it was like alcoholics anonymous.. i'm such and such i don't own a kwaka but i'm here for help  And that is what has got me a little vocal on the matter. Yes you know them, but we don't. All we see is people joining here for different reasons that we did(owning a kwaka). Yes they own/love/ride sportbikes but there are non kwaka specific forums for that. Red dave brings non kwaka mates on rides which is fine, but those people don't join here because they ride with us occasionaly.
What brett said was true, if you don't own a kwaka, have some um *tact* and don't make a song and dance about the fact you don't.

Instead of sending me a pm telling me to get over it, how about you guys try to see where we are coming from? This isn't netrider(so i can voice my opinion without it being deleted), and yes I do live in Qld(WTF has that got to do with it?), BUT this a forum that WE are all a part of, no matter where we live. It is a combined forum, what the other states post affects us too, and if we didn't care so much about this forum and the people on it do you really think we'd give a rats arse what happens?? Most mixed forums are crap, this one seems to be so good because it held together by people who have a common interest.
You guys are so busy defending the non kwaka riders joining that you fail to see that all we want is for things to stay the way they are. If things change what happens to this place????
