nurburgring on the CBR1000RR Motul Moriwaki - best i could do was 7:20.
tried the trick*star zx10 - unstable in a few sections so couldnt go better than 7:31.
*in TT mode, not arcade*
watched a few replays on putfile/youtube with some bikes going under 7m.. one guy on some PS2 forum was claiming he'd cracked 6:48!!! which is seriously scooting around alright...
great track, but after comparing what it looks like in TT to real life vids taken of nurburgring (via youtube, putfile etc), there's fewer trees in the game (i think to keep the frame rate high) and there's a hell of a lot more bumps in the game.
saw some replay from gran turismo 3 - some guy did the ring in 4:59 flat in some souped up super zoom zoom car.. crazy shit alright.

goddan Poorbastard is good, but i got these, sometimes after about 20laps...
Tsukuba Wattie Yoshi GSXR1000 57.393
Motegi s'way Wattie Busa RM 36.629 took me about 40 laps... haha
Suzuka Wattie Mori CBR1000 2.08.987
Valencia Wattie ZX10 RM 1.38.817 1st lap... went backwards from there.
thats was all last night. had a few cracks at nurburgring, but couldnt crack a 7.38, using MV Raptor and MV RM. might give it a crack with something set up a bit better. makes so much difference!!
and dont forget to put the soft tyres on ppl!!

OK guys all updated but pls check as the medication is rather strong
Yeah there are some V fast times out ther BUT arcade is different (which is why TT is specified) and allows some wierd settings too.
It MAY also be an advantage if you dont actually REALLY ride a bike and just play a GAME (which none of us are doing I bloody hope)
Some cheaters (and then whats the point??) just run WFO into a corner, stack it and then regenerate and get a fast lap BUT once again whats the bloody point of it.
And it can get a might embaressing if someone asks to watch that "brill" saved lap when you cheated your little ars off eh??
prob cheat when they play thier kids at Snakes and Ladders too.
I would hope that we would all respect each other enuf NOT to do this crap.

well your times is safe for a while,. i had 2 goes with the TZ last night got a 7.40 and a 7.35 or somethin. bloody things so light it dont like the fast sections.... haharocketrod wrote:I found that stacking slows down your lap times, especially if its in a fast section. When you regenerate back on the track, you have lost all that momentum.By the way,my time on the TZ was in TT mode.
cant find a fast bike that handles the bumps as well but.
i will never give up!!

TRUE
I found this out by accident when I forgot a corner at the 'ring racing my best lap.
I had got in front of the ghost by a fraction of a second and steamed over a hill WFO. Straight into a blind right hander
The bike regenerated, I was off (it would have been a 1st gear corner anway) and then I noted that I was relatively a long way in front of my ghost (compared to what I had been). I can only assume I picked all this time up as the ghost decelerated WAY back, went down the gears and wobbled around the corner (and prob fell off anyway
).
THIS is what I meant about cheating.....
NOT that I care but for me if I fall off on a lap (against the ghost) and I beat that good lap it WONT get saved.
Sometimes its a line call, i.e could you have picked the bike up.
IF it bounces off the wall, spins on it nose and then cartwheels I do NOT save that lap.
The speedway would be another example, ask yourself, if this was for real would I REALLY have been able to bounce off the wall that hard
BUT I sure dont expect anyone else to do this, its just the rules on MY saved game... nothing else.
IT would be impossible to police in a forum like this so all I am asking is if you DO bodgey shit to get your laps PLS dont ask me to post them over the top of someone who sat there for f*cken hours to get it..... only YOU will know if you were honest or not
This is ksrc, not some kids trying to impress each other .... (Riiigggghhhhtttt
