Can i make a sugesstion that might'nt go down too well.
Can the rear logo/catch phrase be lower down or have a plain back?
the reason is cos some of us girlies have long hair and it covers it up.
please feel free to ignore me too and do what you bloody well like, I'll still buy it.

I really like this too.
I think something about having a knee down would make ksrc sound like a bunch of tossers... no offense intended to anyone.
A newer KSRC rider pulling up to Mt White Cafe with un-scuffed tyres and brand-spanking-new dragin jeans would feel pretty silly bragging about their knee sliders. Haha.

Another engine gone but at least the purple and pink are still there, oh yeah.

James have you Actually read what the logo says now ?. Pretty sure only a few members have ever actually Qualified on a scoot. I like the blinker/knee down gag as its pretty original imo.

re: T-shirt design.
Haha yeah, current slogan is pretty silly too imho.
I'm not having a dig at anyone or anything, just saying that I wouldn't wear a shirt with something about knee sliding or speeding or whatever unless it was really really clever with some hidden non-show-off kind of meaning behind it.

"Outrunning excess weight since Y2K"
"So my bike is heavy, what's your excuse?"

I'm kinda hooked on the weight concept because that's what most non-kwaka riders hassle us about.

Sorry, my post was a bit confusing.
I just mean that a slogan about knee sliding kinda implies that's what the club is about and some members might not feel comfortable promoting that sort of image. If that is what it's about, then sorry, hahaha, I must just be a boring young fart

I'm just saying my opinion though like everyone else, not trying to make anyone agree with me

I'm still only a newbie after all.

re: T-shirt design.
Its ok James I'm only joking...
Speak up and have your say thats what this site is about.
We'll put up a variety of slogans for a vote and whichever wins will be on the new shirts.. Its all very democratic..
At the end of the day, we do have to sell them...
The best thing about a catchy "tosser" slogan is that a lot of non member tossers will want to buy a shirt too...

re: T-shirt design.
Yes... Its how we finance this thing...
btw, I don't think the slogan means you have to get be getting your knee down and have worn out sliders. Just that you may lean off the bike and have your knee out as you enter a corner... I'm sure a lot of us may use this technique at times....

It doesn't? Oh... ummm... I thought the slogan was "compulsory point of membership part 1"!

God forbid the day that sportbike riders are perceived by the general public as road going hooligans

C'mon James, an obscure reference to a riding technique used by a fraction of the motorcycling community is not about to swing the tide of popular thought on the beaches of our society.
And members who do feel that strongly about it can exercise their rights as free-living members of humanity... and not wear any shirt they don't want to. If I don't like the final shirt, I won't buy one... simple.
