Re: The HoffCam 5000 !!
I just ordered one of These with a 32Gb memory card.
I see a couple of advantages...
It wires to an ignition power (then plugs in via cigrette lighter socket), and records with power on and stops with power off - so no mucking around once the cam is fitted.
32Gb card allows decent ride without it getting full or over writing data (it does overwrite once the card if full)
No battery to go flat/recharge etc
Should bolt to a tank mount or on the race bike inside the fairing (hidden). Not quite as cheap as Hoffy's make up, but for under $130 including memory card it's still cheap. On the tracky I'll wire it to an inition wire, but on the ten I'll probably just put a permanent power on the battery and add a switch so I don't have to muck with the stock wiring loom.
It'll be slow delivery from Honk Kong, but I'll post more once it turns up.

Re: The HoffCam 5000 !!
Anyone nkow why I can't get my vid to embed?

]2 minute first ever video taken from about 10 mins of footage.
For anyone interested in videoediting I found "VideoPad" to be good and free.
Notes: Camera on slight angle, could do with some "suspension" for a smoother image like Hoffcam.

Re: The HoffCam 5000 !!
Just put the code (e.g. 6qptHKiOuAs) in the youtube tags, not the whole URL, and it works fine.tim wrote:Anyone nkow why I can't get my vid to embed?
