Here's a really quick photohack for yared_dave wrote:I'd like to see it in green...
They've come up with some weird colour schemes in the past.

Speaking to some people in the know today and apparently the bike will only be released once they have cleared the old model from showroom floors.
Also they are only plan to bring half the number of the bug quantity into the country. 2000 was thrown around but dont quote me.
Price is expected to hurt the wallet also

Re: 2011 ZX10 released by Kawasaki!
ooh nice looking kit
Excuse my ignorance but whats the 2nd master cylinder for, if it is one, when the clutch has a cable adjuster, the whole setup in there looks confusing?
Maybe I am behind the times

Maybe that's their solution for the brake fade

well if you look closely, the rear caliper has 2 brake lines, me thinks that the test rider uses a bit of thumb brake or soemthing similar in r/h corners.

update,
Its only Akira's bike that has the 2 rear brake lines, (green Helmet)
Cant see a clear shot of his thumb in the left hand.

From MCN:
"Not quite understanding the idea of a teaser marketing campaign. Kawasaki has released more pictures of the same prototype 2010 ZX-10R racer lapping Suzuka – the third batch of pictures in as many days.
* Find a Kawasaki ZX-10R for sale
The latest images show former WSB rider Akira Yanagawa (best remembered for wrestling outdated ZX-7Rs around to reasonable success in the 1990’s) lapping the Japanese circuit on a development race bike, gathering more data.
There’s no more information to go with the images – it’s known that Kawasaki has its sights set on finally becoming a leading force in WSB, and besting BMW’s S1000RR on the road. Figures of 190bhp and 198kg are believed to be the target figures, enabled by an all-new chassis and engine.
A new beam frame (wrapping around the engine, rather than routing over the cylinder head as on the current machine, an underbraced swingarm and different engine casings are visible. The current bike has a short swingarm and long frame – the new bike will be the opposite to solve the traction issues plaguing race teams across the globe.
Sophisticated traction control will be standard, and a state-of-the-art dashboard will have road and race modes – race mode will hide all non essential information, like speed and the odometer, in favour of making the lap timer, rev-counter and traction control information more prominent."
Bolded text by me. (what i thought stood out)

Re: 2011 ZX10 released by Kawasaki!
Awesome pics! love the styling, hopefully there won't be too much difference between that and the road going version. The smaller/shorter/lower tail unit looks hot! makes it look like a 2010 z1000 with fairings. New power to weight goal sounds good, as does the longer swinger/shorter frame.
I after reading the press releases, can't help but feel the new zx10 is going to be a similar improvement over last years as the new Z1000 over it's predecessor. Can't wait for them to go on sale and read some reviews!!
