I might be wrong, but I don't think any of us tag bikes that aren't Kawasaki's of some kind. If non-K owners join it's because they're friends of members or have joined us on a ride and liked us. If they liked us, then they'll fit right in!
I don't see any problems with that. One of my favourite Vic members is Duane - and he puts up with all our sh1t re. the unfortunate Spewzuki with good-natured humour. Neka's a cornerstone of the club and I can't imagine it without him. And there's a few newer members i.e. Photomike (who I really enjoy riding with - very considerate and skilled rider) and VTRBob (who stood up to Stalker, gotta love that!) who don't ride Kawa's but are definitely most welcome here.
So if a few non-Kawasaki riders join up, hey - they're still bike riders. And if they're friends of members you can be sure they're decent people and will fit right in.

I am not aware of any of the members here tagging or chasing
new members who don't ride Kwikas...I have only ever tagged green machines
sure, some other make sportsbike riders have jumped on courtesy of their partner
or relative or friend or mate belonging here (as they are on a Kwika)
and in some respects it is better to get newbies via invite rather
than via cold calling with tags....
with tagging bikes on the street you could end up with an axe murderer
or with another neka (!) .....
cheers

re: wots ksrc stand for ?
Long but not as long as "Duane's mexican bike wave"
Allrighty I think the Shock Value of Fabioberts Original post has sorta run its course so i'll add my $10 worth.
1. I would love to see everybody that joins our little world ride a Kwikasaki. Its great to see the smallest Brand of the big 4 have some strength in numbers for a change.
2. Family members have to be exempt & accepted on whatever they ride (this includes Narfie cause Mario's Missus has adopted the poor silly bugger). Besides most family members tend to be learners n lets face it Kwika doesnt have the best range of starter bikes.
3. I think picking a user name that is Bike Specific is pretty short sighted (ask Jibbers "nobikeatall" as he changed his name 3 times when he sold his 2 scoots) & confusing as well at times. Choosing a name that is bike specific n not a Kwika is sorta running against the grain n tends to be a red flag to the Hardcore Kwika guys.
4. Java got a bum kicking for posting the ride on another forum & u membourne guys had to deal with the consequences of having an extra 20 odd bikes front up. From afar although the pics look awesome I'm sure Duanne n the organisers could vouch for it being pretty unmanageable as a group ride n We were probably lucky no one was truely injured. Watch the novelty wear off pretty fast if every ride has that many or more bikes showing up, purely because its gonna be a mess with keeping together n actaully been fun to be part of. I also believe most of thses folk to be wonderful people n the reason for the increase in non kwikas joining which is a huge compliment but brings us to the point of this discussion.
5. There are other forums where non kwikas can participate, its my impression that a small amount of people looking for somewhere new are trying to start fresh after becoming unpopular due to their nature. I think we just went through a week of crap due to such a person. If they are serious about belonging they would fight to make somewhere appropriate site a better place to me. Or maybe even create a new site with like minded folk.
6. The commradary that makes Ksrc is rare to find n i can understand why "ring ins" would want to be part of that. Theres something to be said about maintaining a small group of friends over a larger group of strangers.
7. The old hands will stop the "trolls" & "wankers" from damaging what we have but that still wont avoid damage to the site during the filtoring process. Again refer to last weeks bullshit that I'm sure no one enjoyed reading.
8 In fabs defence "the big shit" if he wasnt passionate about the site n what we have then he wouldnt have vented n possibly offended anybody. I agree with his sentiment & courage to post it as i m sure we all do. But maybe a bit more tack woulda been less Traumatic Fab (dont worry kids I'm gonna open a big "Can of Whoop Arse" next time we are in different States ... hows the weather in melbourne guys that may be far enough away from him
Anyway thats it from where i sit, these issues will be more relevant as we continue to grow & should be discussed before anything gets blown outta perspective. It would be a shame to lose some Top people because we skirted a "hot topic" trying not to offend anyone..
Cheers Brett
