I miss my loud noises sometimes, I had one of these:

Any my guitar was shiny and red and pointy and had a replica Washburn Wonderbar on it. Got stolen from my house in Sylvania and I don't even have any pics.

Well, I'm going to have to get out the camera. I presently have
1. 1970 model Maton CW80/6 bought new in 1970 for $150
2. 1980 model Washburn 12 string, bought new for $230
3. A Norman folk guitar, not sure of its age, late 90's I guess, handmade in Canada.
Plus several other guitars some of which I take to school when I'm teaching and others which act as display pieces and are played at home occasionally.
AND, apart from the Norman which has electrical pickups, all of them are straight acoustics.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left. Phil

My axe

Post by photomike666 »

For just over a year I've been trying to learn, slow going - considering lessons rather than self taught.

Presently have a Harlem Strat copy. I've swapped out the humbucker for a Seymour Duncan distortion and have Ernie ball Power slinkies with the thicker bottom end

I have a Peavey Audition pumping out a life threatening 7 watts!!! The clean channel is nice, but there's not enough punch. I have a Line 6 UX2 on the PC which is great fun

The dream set up is Schecter Hellraiser C1 with a Floyd Rose bridge, probably running through a Marshall stack. Meantime I'm look for a 102 combo.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
07 ZX10R since new, tracky TBA, KX450F, 87 CR250 restoration, GT MTB - I've got serious thrill issues, dude

You need to stay out of the Sun Hoff, that's a nasty sunburn you've got there.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.
