That's gonna slow ya at least 3 tenths a lap - by the time I attain target weight, my bike will be hauling 12kg less. Now that's gotta improve the lap timesfireyrob wrote:mmmm Thinking a couple of pies for lunch... May go the bacon & cheese pie covered with mash, pea mash, gravy on top...

What Rob said, man my lunch was minimal today from what I ate over the weekend, dam it. Two more weeks, maybe three and back to walking/running, so many kg to shiftmmmm Thinking a couple of pies for lunch... May go the bacon & cheese pie covered with mash, pea mash, gravy on top...

That sounds discusting. But really I eat what I want, I just have smaller portions and excercise more.fireyrob wrote:What about the toasted banana bread drizzling in hot butter and the Large Cappuccino I had for arvo tea?photomike666 wrote:That's gonna slow ya at least 3 tenths a lap

Thats the trick Mike! Its more about lifestyle change than getting to a goal weight I reckon
Plus Ive found when Im excercising regularly I tend to feel like eating better foods... Lost a bit of weight myself so know what people are going through but make it a lifestyle or you'll fall into the same old bad habits and probs be worse off than when you started
PS Im not worried about 3 tenths a lap when Im still 15 seconds a lap off the rest

Re: Shrinking Leathers - The weekly weigh in...
Bang on matey..... changing lifestyle is the key to managing weight..... I personally believe 'dieting' is bound for failure as it is generally a non-sustainable method.... which ends up in big losses followed by pretty big gains..... altering ones lifestyle to a healthier and sustainable system is certainly the key to managing weight to acceptable levels....... remembering everything is ok in moderation..... although there is no point busting your ass off running and throwing iron around..... if you are not really willing to modify eating habits.... as eating healthy and sensibly is where the serious benefits are to be had..... no point starving and being unhapppy and feeling lethargic!fireyrob wrote:Thats the trick Mike!
