all NSW,SA,Vic,ACT members to attend, and any Tas,WA,NT members who can make it.... sumwhere in the middle of all 4 states maybe.?....
The only place that really fits that description is Silverton, out the back of Broken Hill, NSW. It has a great pub, and an area for camping and bulk burnouts  , buts thats about it.....

Its about 4-5 hours from Adelaide, 6-7 hours from Melbourne, 12 hours from ACT (1 and a half days), and roughly the same from Brisbane and Sydney (maybe closer to a 2-day sprint)

Its at least 3 days from Perth, but so is anywhere !! Tas members could expect to travel at least 2 days. Darwin members could be at the SA border in 5-6 hrs ;)

HG is a lot closer to the Melbourne, ACT and SA members.

i was thinking abt Broken Hill (tho i heard they fixed it??) ... HG is great..and when u consider its only an extra 90min for the syd guys from the ACT..... we should do it more often..the sbk/gp are awesome, but its about the race meet- not about the ride, if u kno wot i mean....
what abt a venue like albury or sumthin?? is that closer for the softcore syd crew??

i was just trying to figure a place where the qld crew could get there as well....

or maybe next year we make the sbk trip a few extra days and meet for the ride down??

90min ?? what from Sydney to ACT ?? Its 2 and a half hours from my place to Oran Park, right on the outskirts of SW Sydney. For the guys leaving from say MadKaws place, its a 3-hour trip at a minimum from Sydney to Canberra......not 90 minutes.....

Albury is a lot closer, thats only 6-7 hours from Sydney. Bit further for you guys from SA, not really any difference for the WA / Qld crew.

This sort of annual gathering is done in a lot of other clubs, they generally rotate the venue each year so that all Club members get a gig close to home one year, and a long ride the next, etc.......

Mate is is very sad to hear what happened to you, and I hope you heal up quick. I reckon you have a top way of looking at it. We all go out there and push bloody hard on the track, yes its only a track day not a race, but we are all still chasing that elusive perfect lap. These things are going to happen at some time to someone. It just sucks that it was you.

On the money there..... Was top of my list of things to do today! So I dunnit! Shortened by 130mm. Unknow how it will sound as I couldnt be farked with getting fuel and electrics back in order. Does anyone out there know if this will affect carburation? When I fitted this pipe in its original form I popped in 0.5mm washers under the needles to richen it a little and make it a little smoother down low. Given it has been shortened up a bit and will provide a little less restriction will the jets or anything else need mods?
Even fabricated a new bracket......saving of at least 1 cheeseburger in weight and all!

But damn I got outbid on this

it went for $435 US and would have only been $130 postage :(
All in all it would have been cheaper than the quotes I have had from Aus wreckers and a quote on straightening and welding.
Quoted $1500 for frame and subframe from Vic wreckers. Quoted $450 just to straighten the frame, welding would be additional and subframe would be additional  I put out a call on findapart for a subframe and got responses ranging from $180 for a slightly bent one to $450 for a straight one.

I'm confused, Whilst checking part no's for both zx9 and zx6 frame I found that both the 9 and the 6 have the same no assigned to them. Realy are they the same?

I also long ago noticed that the upper fairing and associated garb is identical between the models and so I am chasing ebay parts left right and centre for both models.
No realy I am surprised that the 9 and the 6 have the same frame - if this is right. Will be calling up the parts counter at BK tommorow to find out if their computer says the same.

We (5 of us) were dscussing this at the pub with Colette the other day, well I was trying but couldn;t get a word in, 2 women there ya know... anyways, my suggestion was Jinjallock (spelling?) campground, on the Murray NSW side and really close to Granya state park and not too far from Great Alpine Way etc, anyways, free campground, best steak I have ever had for $20, pub 20 metres away, byo dunny paper and you're right.

Mick - the name of that place is " Jingellic".

It is on the NSW side of the Murray, about 45km SW of Tumbarumba. Its also about 5 minutes away from Walwa, which is (was) a stopover for the annual "Snowies to the Super Doopers Run" ......some nice roads around that area......

I'm certain they're different mate, the 9 is significantly wider than the 6 (at lease an inch cross the front fairing, probably 2 across the widest part of the frame). I've noticed similar instances before where the part numbers were the same for very different parts.
