Wanted my 12 bad, that flowing sort of track would suit it I reckon.
I am not talking racing here, just a fast road/track ride. Sure you couldnt just slam open the taps but thats half the fun. I reckon EC would suit it too, but it will NEVER weigh under 200kg, I am not COMPLETELY stupid.
I would be way quicker on either track on the 12, not because its better, just that I didnt really LIKE the 600 all that much and my 12 suited my pissant riding "style".
I like my women with a bit of meat on em too, comes when you enjoy the ride more than what other ppl think it looks like
Luckily what suits one does not suit all.
At least I'm not the only one. The only time I took a 600 for a spin (1999 ZX6R) I couldn't get confident on it. Felt too flimsy, unlike the 12 which to me feels a lot more planted and stable. Even the 9s don't feel as planted as the 12. It depends on what suits the rider.

What's all the talk about the 12s being heavy?? Sure they carry a few pounds, but they're not much heavier than the ZX-7R which are only 12kg lighter!!

Ok you gurls its not another "my tackle is better then your tackle" thread, we already been there, fell off, remounted, lost my licence & done that

Madkaw wins the "Cupie doll" with the zx12r Being dubbed "The Magic Schoolbus" from here on in.
I think it's quite apt, onya Dave.
I'll also make the correction to the "widow maker being the 500cc not the 750.
when Gos gives me dates I'll enter the original z900 "Balltearer" as the "KWAKA 9"

Ok next i want a tag for the 05 - 06 zx6r keep those suggestions rolling in.
thanks 8)

Released at Cologne in August 1972. Original called the Z1 - NOT the z1900, or z900 or any other permutation. It was simply "Z1" First model ran from late 1972 ( these are the *really* rare babies), up to late 1973.

1974 - z1A

1975 - z1B

1976 - z900 A4. ( 4th model 900, Big K finally commenced the model designation-style that has continued to this day.)

1977 - z1000A1

etc etc .....as the old saying goes......."Gotta Love a 9 !!" :P :P

ponit said "we already been there, fell off, remounted, lost my licence & done that "
I resemble that remark, but Plasma keeps stirring me up ponti
A phsycologist may ask the statement is no one gives a f then why do YOU keep bringing it up
Just get one and be done with it Plas

if the ppl that actually own the bike dont use the handle it is unlikely to stick so it cant be TOO derogartory and if it is must address the bikes true faults. I like MSB soon as the 12s back the MSB sticker will be going on in place of ZX

Personally I would say a tit coloured 06 636 would have to be handled

PERFECT

just about describes the bike to a tee, all those ppl waiting the new ZX7R, you have been looking at the wrong capacity, go take one for a ride, they will be cheap as soon.
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD
