Not sure..... Oh well, it was drizzling on saturday anyway, so I wouldnt have test ridden it in any case.... Might line it up for next Saturday.... I suspect it will be quite a similar ride to the zx6

Picked up the new steed saturday and proceeded to ride her home, did about 1200 kays approx.Great bike,im rapt.Great steerer, good on fuel, unless you get stuck into it

,comfy,good brakes,looks great.
Bad points, average gearbox, hit false neutrals about 4 times on the way home and i found the front end a little bouncy on larger bumps into turns, just seemed to make the front wheel pogo around a little.
One other thing from other z750 owners,i found the fuel pump to be noisey, like a high pitched squeal,is this normal?

Cant wait to bling her up,just need to save some $$$$$ now

Hey Rocket ya made it!
Bike looks great... same as mine
False neutral..... yes they do it.. positive gear changes are required!
Bouncy front end ..... yes they are crap ...... get the forks done!
Fuel pump .....is normal... almost BMW like, only quieter
Keep us posted!

1 more thing rocket
Put a towel on yer rear cowling & turn that bag around unless ya like easy wheelstands!.... gets the weight more over the bike than in outter space!
Enjoy the ride

Thanks for the info.Yeah i know its not good having the bag hanging over the rear, but this is how it was when i picked up the bike and the only thing i had in the bag was the pillion seat, wallet, smokes and spare gloves,so really no weight in it so to speak of.

Is the gearbox the same between the thou & 750?
Anyway I have had a few falseys & have taught myself to do positive gear changes rather than being sloppy with the left foot....made a big difference & havent had a false since

You could try some decent gearbox oil

arr 5110 motul at $60-$70 for 4 ltr's is good enough i think
