Might be worth seeing if you can have your seat modified to make it lower and/or thinner. John Moorhouse in QLD does great work and you might not have to sacrifice comfort.

Another thought... is the 2007 600 lower than the 2006 636 ?
Bikes for shorties
I've got a 2000 model Cagiva Raptor 1000 (as well a a ZX9 F1) - the TL1000S motor is one of THE great motors - if a bit lumpy low down and a bit thirsty - but if you're used to a steady diet of sub-litre fours, you'll be blown away by the sheer mid-range grunt of the thing. Handling is also great - responsive and secure, but suspension slightly harsh. Also, some quality, spares, electrics issues.
It must have the lowest seat height (by far) of any sporty litre-bike. But watch out because quite a few have modified rear suspension triangles or a shortened frame link (aka a Baines link) either of which has the effect of raising the rear ride height by up to 45mm.
BTW it was designed by the same bloke who penned the Ducati Monster.

As mentioned in another thread, I took it to Teknik in Penrith and it had a complete revalving of forks and change of springs and lowered by 50mm (they returned the original inner forks and springs to me so I can change it back when I sell eventually).Draven wrote:Col's bike is pure sex on wheels, so low and stelthy, and evan though it was lowered and im on 6ft very comfy bikeNeka79 wrote:Collette has since then got her ass on a 06 zx6r with sum suspension/seat mods etc to make it all happen....
