I'm normally a supporter of individuals in the public sector but FMD the RTA/RMS really make it hard...

Back in Feb I got my Van engineered to change from bus to van to avoid the need for a HVIS every rego.
Got my renewal and it's still shown as a bus so emailed them to find out what happened...
2 weeks no response so sent another email..finally got an answer....
THE FUCKING ENGINEERS CERTIFICATE WAS REJECTED BECAUSE THE VIN WAS INCORRECT... :?
The nob (engineer) had put an O when it should have been 0...
Okay mistakes happen but WTF wasn't I advised that it was rejected 5 months ago.... :x

So...back to engineer and 3 trips to RTA in Wagga to fix things up.
Just as well I'm laidback or this could have really got ugly... :kuda:

Had my zrx serviced yesterday. Glancing at the bike in the garage last night I noticed a few scratches that I hadn't noticed before, looking closely I notice many marks that I don't remember and can't explain. Even if half of them were already there, ffaaaarrrrrkkkknnnnn pizzzzzzed offff.
Do we have to photograph our bikes before we get them serviced, do we have to tell them we don't want apprentices working on our bikes, Or ask mechanic to try not to scratch the bike, and when they wash the bike can they do it properly or not at all.
My warranty requires stamped services or I would be doing it myself.
Fffaaaarrrrkkknnnnn. Khantsssssssssss.
And when you complain, your just that winging prick customer.

From time to time you see one or all of the current affair programs cracking down on different trades rip-off artist. Plumber, builder, electrical repair man, roofing people, white goods ppl, financial advisors etc..... motorbike places are NOT excluded from that list.

I heard of a garage where the bike was left overnight and things taken of and replaced by damaged parts

I've been sitting here, mostly waiting for yet another operator from telstra to get out modem replaced. (1.5hrs and counting...)

Our current modem doesn't have it's wireless section working and since we are paying for it as well we need it, get a replacement from them, one that works.

So far does that seem like a complicated affair to anyone here?

I've had the pleasure of talking to Tony, he couldn't hear me, I could hear him having a chat in the background, so I've called back selected my ever important selection of options and hooked up with Anne, who listened to my request, then asked me to hold on while she'll direct me to the best department which will be able to help. After a :while" I had a great fortune of getting Anna on the line, who informs me that they can replace it, but there be a charge.

I said something like f@rk that, I'm paying for your equipment & service every month and I paying 100% of each bill, so it's only fair that I get equipment which works 100% as well.

Anna couldn't handle the heat, so put me onto Maria from billing who also find my no nonsense approach a bit harsh, so now I'm waiting on Maarish, an indian sounding guy, who also said they will charge me since it's out of the 12 months vintage  .... He went away talking to a supervisor to see what can be done

He got back on line after about 10 minutes (about three tracks of elevator music), to say he ordered the modem for us and we'll receive it in a couple of days.

So why did we have to waist so much time and go through so much aggravation to get what we pay for?

Whoever said the customer is always right should be politely asked to leave the store and then shot.
Don't walk into a metal shop and ask for a bit of tin.Don't say " umm i think its about this big "and then hand you a piece of string that depending how hard you pull is either 1/2 a metre or 3/4 metre long.Don't say" What do you usually make them out of,how much is it gunna cost and since you are obviously just standing around waiting for me to bring in my two dollar job ,can i wait for it?"When we have no friggin idea what your asking to be made in the first place. How about a few dimensions, moron! How about drawing the damn thing on something bigger than a post it note. Are they inside dimensions or outside? What kind of material and what thickness ?? Lord give me strength!!!!!!
Don't give me a template made from an old coke box cut out with rusty garden secateurs and say in the same breath that it has to accurate.
I'm getting to old for this shit!!!!!!!!!

Fair enough :kuda: :kuda:

Where we live, we are in a "pocket" even with our mobiles, so we have to divert our mobile numbers to the land line, if we want ppl to be able to reach us. And we're also not talking "bush" , as we're about 10 minutes north of Gosford, between Erina & Terrigal. As telstra are the primarily owners of the land lines, we would pretty well just double our troubles if we taken on a different provider. If we didn't have the business commitment, we'd do it in a heart beat. :kuda:

Bridge Mowers , East Gosford have sent out an offer, which I thought was timely and attractive enough to take advantage of before the spring/summer comes upon us, when the mower have to be used at least once a week.

His offer was to pick up & drop back the ride on mower for free and take $50 off the service charge.
When the job was completed the bill came to $432  ( so if you add the $50 which was taken off the total would have been $482)
I asked him to review his bill and reduce it to half as I been able to present recent bills of regular service on the motor-home as well as our car which came to $280 & $230 respectively. Same things of course, oil, filters grease lube etc.. without any major problems, just like with the mower. Both of these cars were serviced at the local ford dealership, so I consider them to be reasonably mid range cost, not too pricey, not too cheap.

He refused to bend on it, saying all sorts of irrelevant BS, so i have told him, that I will not be back nor will i be quiet about it
All up we would have spent 10K to date with him on various garden related equipment and services etc.

fecking sports administrators!
revenue down, player numbers down, no media presence, no tv rights, a lack of junior player numbers, a team in the comp above forfeits a finals game 'cause they are all pissed/hungover, referees dont know the laws of the game, and personally directs a judiciary to rule in a peculiar way, causing a barrister and a police prosecutor to stand agog, mouths open at the miscarriage of justice.

and i get a telling off for scaremongering, and bringing the game of disrepute.

fucking arsehat knob-gobbler. while hes rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic, the game i love is bein g ground into non existance!
