Aint that the truth, you can be as keen and talented as you like but unless someone is footing the bill to get you out there with competitive gear it's going to be a struggle.Felix wrote:There's an old motorsport saying - To be fast you must have a rich father.
Just look at the V8 supercars and you see evidence of it all over.
Remember Team Kelly racing?? Their dad musta had some money to buy them a team to race in to get their foot in the door.
At least with bikes rider talent/bravery/insanity goes a long way towards winning races....cept if your riding for suzuki in the GP.....
