so you want everyone to wear protective gear so they don't make it law that you have to?????

or if your talkin about the helmet, it is law and why don't you want it to be????

end of the day, do what you want deal with the consequences.

The point is they will legislate stupid shit eg Lane splitting/filtering because some twat puts up stats which say that x number of motorcyclists get killed every year. The real root cause of the death/injury is of little consequence if you want to make the stats suit your purpose.

I maintain my original stance. Knobs wobbling around without helmets/straps/protective gear or whatever does us all of us a disservice and pointing out the inherent stupidity of it is not a bad thing It is simply my point of view, you have a different one and that's fine. You clearly didn't like the way I put mine across and I don't particularly like the way you put yours across.

I can feel the love in the room Doctor Duane, can you feel the love.

I'm not a candidate for your bowel babies though, Mike can have them all to himself.

that was the idea.

i don't know you.
i have no idea about your level of intelligence.
i don't know how you ride.

that's why i made such a ridiculous comment.

cos i don't think you took any of those things into consideration either. in fact most ppl don't

Given
1) Glen has ridden for years
2) He's taught his rugrats to ride trailey's & they havent mangled themselves too badly (yet)
3) he (was) a riding instructor before the whole borg-isation of the training occured.
4) He puts more riding gear on than me
5) he's a shitload faster than me on the road
6) he has a zx10
7) i dont believe he acts (too much of) a twat on the road.

He might have a clue what he's on about, then again, i could too... oh wait, everyones seen my GPX.......
