I can't narrow it down to one, but I can tell you whats become a tradition now before we go on long rides is to watch Torque the night before we go. Its always a great laugh, so many classic one-liners.
I'd rather be fast than invisible...

One Movie....
Full Metal Jacket - one of Stanley Kubricks best i reckon.
but if you're bored, i recommend doing the complete STAR WARS saga
ohhh yeah!!!!! sit down with Beers/whisky, some nibblies and 6 Star wars movies..... heaven!!
yes i am a Star Wars tragic.
i also have EVERY episode/movie of Star Trek ever released, which i also recommend going thru one by one if you are up for a challenge (end up with a sore arse tho')

For me, Stripes with Bill Murray, can basically quote the script i've watched it that many times.
Blues borthers was good and a myriad of others but Stripes is #1.
As for a six pack of Star Wars, could probably do 4-6 in a session, 1 was boring, 2 not much better, 3 predictable but good.

Lord of the Rings trilogy - yeh its 3 movies, but 1 story, and brilliantly translated to the big screen. Its head and shoulders above everything else.
Up until LOTR, it was easily Mad Max, nothing else made in Oz before or since has had the same impact or achieved legendary status like Max.

I can't think of a single movie, but I can think of the best 'bits' from a few movies:
- Runaway Train - a pretty average film with an incredible ending, which is a nice change from the usual disappointment of an incredible film with an average ending
- Ronin - best car chases ever (sorry Blues Brothers/French Connection fans). I used to wonder what it would look like if someone ever floored the accelerator on a Mercedes 450SEL 6.9, now I know.
- Nosferatu (the old 1920s German one) - No movie has ever had me as shitscared as watching Dracula's shadow climbing the stairs in this movie
Can't think of anything else, better get back to work.

think a few here will disagree
Bullitt, The French Connection have 2 of the best chase scenes
but of course ....
Vanishing Point is one whole movie designated to a car
chase...and imho its better than Bullitt TFC or...Ronin
cheers
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!
