Team Moto - 1st Impressions
well.. all that said... Kawasaki Heavy Industry is only in Rydalmere ..bout 5- 10 mins from Parramatta Kawasaki.. if they can't get a part in 3 days then thats just farked..!!! I had a similar experience to James and i gotta say it doesn't look real positive. I hit the bike bandit website in the states and can get parts cheaper and quicker than Parra Kwaka... fukem..!!

We still charge RRP
and discount
being part of a monoploy doesn't mean shit to us.
Customer service is still a large part of our business. We get the customers the other company burns
That's cool everyone has there own views, generally but not always big business has shit/average customer service & yet they still make tons of money! It also tends to be easier in a smaller business to keep the service standard up.

Well, I got my bike back, finally.
Went in this morning about 9.30 and they were having trouble bleeding the brakes and told me to leave it there and come back later as they had other work booked in. I told them I had no way of going anywhere and had nothing better to do than to hang around and harass them until it was finished and so not long after it was finished.
Thats the last cent I spend at Team MOFO.

I've found the retail service at Albion Team Moto (Midtown Kawi) to be pretty poor, but workshop Tony has always come across as a genuine nice guy when I've had my bike serviced there - always happy to explain things and never felt that I've had the brush-off. If he leaves I would probably look elsewhere.

What about Kelen Kawasaki at Penrith, are they any good?
Problem with Kelens (that Dave was telling me) is that their mechanic is only part time, two or three days a week. Which could cause problems with getting it booked in.
I think if the owner had his head screwed on right, he could expand his service dept and scoop up a lot of Parra Kawasaki's unhappy customers

I reckon they could order parts in pretty sharp though, an it only a trip down the m4 if ya live around Parra anyway, go on guys give em a try and see how ya go

re
I have had a bit to do with midtown lately and have felt a really strong sales push each time I've been in there from sales as well as accessories. Its pretty annoying when you are trying to relax, chill out and take your time deciding on things.
I actually got as far as laying down a deposit there and when I declined to go through with it before the cooling off period expired, I have found they've been really reluctant to give me my money back, and not because I'm in the wrong or anything. For example, instead of giving me my deposit in a cheque or whatever, they turned it into store credit! Which I specifically told them I didn't want, unbelievable. I'm dropping in on monday to grab some stuff so will sort it out then.

and soon i'll be test riding a cbr600, a r6 and a zx6 to decide which bike i get at staff prices
I know Sheep skin worths stress's to the staff how important Customer service is, But in Reality they don't give a shiz, just how quickly they can get them in & out the door with lots of Sheep skin branded products that has better margin on it!

Hmm Pro Moto, up and dwon i guess is what i say it raelly does depend on who you talk to and I've found that Paul and Undies are quite good, but the new team members didnt even lookn at me. people in the service department i havent tried yet should be getting full service done there soon before the end of the year so yeh. il find out then, but this whole new pro moto thing i dont think im really for it, the two months before pro moto came in i new everyone and everyone knew me even if they were with antoher customer they'd talk to ya abt anything and not about sales.
