Coat your clutch plates in oil and put them in a zip lock bag to keep them moist.

Partshark is the only place to go for OEM Kawasaki Parts IMHO. :)

Purchased the replacement parts and some additional gaskets (typical Kawasaki)

I saved about $100 buying from partshark...how long do I have to wait

Around 10 days maybe a little longer depending if they get held up waiting on Kawasaki warehouse to send parts to them.
My last order was sent through FedEx & fully trackable.

Finally got my parts...however I don't have the correct tool to torque the clutch hub nut to 135Nm . So now I might have to take half a day off work to get the mechanic to torque it and the springs to spec. I really don't want to have to wait till the weekend to finish this

Got the mechanic to tighten the clutch hub nut to spec and I was getting so excited to put it all back together and ride in a few days....then the mechanic says "youre so close to 48k kms you may aswell do the shims now while the engine it out".

Dammit hes right. So looks like im doing that as well

Does anyone know a good method for rotating the crank?

All of the how to guides seem to skip over this part?

Take plugs out, select a gear and use countershaft to turn it. Should work

All done! Took about 1hour including reading the manual and a 'how to' guide. All clearances are good bar two exhaust that were out by ~.02mm but on the good side of out.

Time to reassemble!
