We still don't know the circumstances, it is an assumption they were reckless.
Anyway I found the article, it is from a cycle forum but the content is worth a read - http://www.londoncyclist.co.uk/raf-pilo ... -cyclists/

All of which proves that the cage driver is at fault in most collisions ..
I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
If it's got wheels or tits, it's gonna give you trouble !

No actually just proves that we make wild statements that suit our point of view. If you actually did some research you would find that motorcycle accidents are as a majority percentage either single accident or at fault. But hey why let get facts in the way of a discussion.
All that article proves is that you don't have to be reckless and still kill someone

Every Motorcyclist should be aware that on a curved rd like this the cage drivers view of you may be blocked by the A Pillar.
God forbid a cage driver should have to move their bloody head to clear an obstructed view, but if we were to remove all the inattentive, lazy and complacent drivers from the
road our economy would collapse as 50% of road users wouldn't be able to get to work!
Fines are a joke and I cannot believe there was no loss of license
Complacency on roads you may be very familiar with, is something all of us can be guilty of, that's why most accidents occur close to home.God forbid a cage driver should have to move their bloody head to clear an obstructed view, but if we were to remove all the inattentive, lazy and complacent drivers from the
road our economy would collapse as 50% of road users wouldn't be able to get to work!

Policy - Find something simple.....and Complicate it!
